Pete Thorn is a self professed “Guitar Nerd”. Hailing from Edmonton, Alberta, he eventually made his way to Los Angeles to attend the infamous Musicians Institute. Since his graduation, Pete has landed has landed many gigs as a recording artist and professional guitarist for hire. His resume includes working with artists such as Chris Cornell, Melissa Etheridge, James Blunt, Daniel Powter, Alicia Keys, Pink and many more. Pete is fortunate to have become affiliated with a great guitar/amp company called Suhr where he has his own signature guitar as well as providing input on the development of the Suhr guitar amps. Pete has also become a YouTube sensation in the guitar and guitar playing world. His YouTube videos cover a wide range of topics that are helpful to bring awareness to new guitar effect pedals, recording techniques and he also hosts a livestream every Sunday where he does Q&A for all things guitar.
